Happy Monday, guys! I hope you all have had a great weekend and are ready to start another productive week.

But first, a spanking new review on an exciting brand that just launched exclusively at Sephora IndonesiaCover FX is a Canadian makeup brand that has been around since 2000. Makeup junkies in the U.S and Australia have been big fans of Cover FX products for quite some time now, and starting this August, I’m so excited that they’re finally available to us here in Indonesia!

I don’t know about you, but Maria and I have really sensitive skin. This means that we have to be extremely selective and smart about what makeup products we use. We don’t have the luxury of slabbing on whatever product comes our way. What I love most about Cover FX is that this is a brand that specifically caters to those who have this issue. Not only is every single product dermatologists and clinically tested, but is also crammed with vitamins, emollients and redness reducers. Furthermore, they’re free of parabens, fragrance, gluten, mineral oil and talc (music to the ears of anyone with sensitive skin!!).

Who doesn’t want makeup that is actually non-harmful to your skin?

Oh, and when it comes to finding the right shade of foundation, compact powder etc., Cover FX has got you covered, too (no pun intended). Get this guys, they have over 4o shades for you to choose from (the average number of shades a makeup brand usually carries is 15-30). So no matter what skin tone you are, you’re bound to find your match. There’s even a shade finder on their website, making it that much easier for you to determine your exact shade.

Not too long ago, I had the privilege of meeting with Cover FX Global Education Director, Brett Gallagher. He flew all the way from San Francisco to film a highlight and contour tutorial with me! Being the pro that he is, Brett had loads of makeup wisdom to share. He introduced me to some pretty incredible Cover FX products like their customizable click sticks, custom enhancer drops, and cream illuminators—which you guys are going to absolutely LOVE. See the full video above!

F.Y.I., there’s especially a lot of buzz surrounding the custom enhancer drops and my personal favorite, the cream enhancers/illuminators.

The custom enhancer drops are a game changer. I’ve never seen a product that so brilliantly and effortlessly creates a highlight or sun-kissed effect. I legit had a hallelujah-thank-you-God moment the first time I tested a tiny drop of it on my hand. These babies can either be used alone, or if you’d like, can be added to any other liquid cosmetics you have such as foundation, primer, serum, and moisturizer. So versatile and convenient!

As for the cream illuminators, they are so easy to use and I love the finish. You know how a lot of highlighters out there are packed with glitter and leave you looking like you just did an arts and crafts activity? These don’t. Just like the enhancer drops, the cream illuminators make your skin glow. Not shine, but literally glow. A little dab on the cheekbones, middle of your brow bone, cupid’s bow, down along your nose, and you’re so good to go.

Click sticks are easily customisable and refillable. Perfect to take on the go.

The best thing about the cream illuminators is that you can upload them into a click stick— a beauty tool that empowers you to conveniently customize your makeup wardrobe. Click sticks are designed to hold your choice of any two Correct, Cover or Enhance Clicks.

I got to use all these products in the tutorial with Brett, and as you can see in the video, I was really happy with the result: A fresh finish complete with a natural-looking glow.
